About

Hello there! So glad you stumbled upon my little corner of the internet.
Let me tell you a little story while you’re here:

There once was me, a woman named Sonja with green-blueish hair, who lives in Berlin. I love to get my hands dirty and create, whether it’s with watercolors, crayons and ink or with my trusty sewing machine. I’m fascinated by the strange and unusual, especially when it comes to the deep sea and its mysterious creatures.

I love to portrait the absurdities of life and to add a touch of dark humor to my work. You’ll often see me using second-hand materials in my projects as my goal is to make the world a happier, greener place, one creation at a time.
I also do lettering and patterns and everything else that pops into my head.

I have no agent at the moment. But you can support me via Patreon (patreon.com/SonjaHeller). I will also open up shops at Etsy, Redbubble and/or Spoonflower soon.
Currently I’m tinkering with some ideas for children’s books and hope to find the opportunity to create crazy imaginative installations for people to escape. Everyone deserves a little break once in a while, don’t you think?

If you want to offer me work, buy some of my creations or just have a little chat, you can reach me here: sonja.heller [at] posteo.de
